SalesOptimize opens the door to the $1.9 trillion global e-Commerce market. They have mapped the internet to find all the online shops in the world. Irish owned start up SalesOptimize has developed a B2B search engine with a difference. It is a marketing analysis & sales lead generation search engine designed to help businesses sell and break into the e-Commerce market.
e-Commerce is the business of selling online – a rapidly growing market that is estimated to be worth $1.9 trillion
Since it was set up in 2013, SalesOptimize, which is a High Potential Start Up (HPSU) supported by Enterprise Ireland, has been researching and building its Business-to-Business (B2B) online sales lead generation platform. Using the latest data mining and analytics technology, its research team has compiled contact details and key data on over 1.7 million active online shops globally.
The data available to SalesOptimize users includes crucial intelligence such as contact details of key executives (in many cases email and/or telephone numbers), how much revenue is generated by that site, payment platform and shipping service used, e-Commerce technology and more.
“For most products or services, as long as they can be ordered on the internet, we can deliver first class, qualified leads,” commented co-founder and CEO, Liz Fulham. “Say you make wellies, for example, we can supply well researched contact details for global websites that sell wellington boots.”
“And in reverse, if you’re on the look out to buy wellies in time for the Ploughing Championships, we can tell you the best websites to go to – saving you time trawling the net for hours looking for online shops that sell wellies!’
The SalesOptimize service went live in February this year. Already it has generated a number of Irish and international brands and has created 11 jobs in Ireland.
Liz Fulham their CEO has been excited by the reaction when she presents. One financial adviser commented, “This can become a $200m company very quickly.”
The service, starts at $299 (€266) per month for 150 sales leads. This provides access to over 1.7m online shops across over 20 countries. It is designed to be integrated if a company has a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system including Salesforce, Close.io and others.
The potential of SalesOptimize is reflected in the fact that the company has already received five requests from customers and prospective buyers for exclusivity. In other words, the customers thought the technology was so powerful that they didn’t want SalesOptimize to sell it to their competitors.
“We don’t do exclusive deals. It’s against our philosophy plus there’s enough rich data and sales contact information in our system to go round everyone,” comments Liz. We are here to help people grow their sales internationally and help Ireland be a dominant player in Big Data Analytics and e-Commerce

Calling All Cheese Lovers
Food for Health Ireland researchers undertake the largest study of the impact of cheese on Irish heart health.
For years, cheese has been demonized as a food high in saturated fat, which could raise cholesterol levels and heart disease risks. If you have cholesterol concerns, you may be told to avoid cheese. Irish researchers in University College Dublin and Teagasc Moorepark now think that this advice needs a rethink.
A number of scientific studies published in the last few years have called into question the current negative message about cheese as an unhealthy food. This emerging science from around the world is poking holes in the argument that cheese is detrimental to health. FHI scientists are currently conducting the largest study of its kind in Ireland to understand more about cheese and its impact on our health.
This human study is being conducted in UCD. Dr Emma Feeney, FHI UCD explains ‘Cheese is high in saturated fat, however there is something special about the matrix of cheese. The fat is found with other nutrients like calcium and protein. It is believed that this matrix of nutrients with the fat can potentially have a positive effect on our health. Our study will look at this theory in more detail’.
The idea of our diet impacting our health is a hot topic these days. With obesity and its related diseases such as heart disease, on the increase, we need to look towards prevention rather than relying on cure. The results of this study will add to the body of knowledge about cheese and health proving that the combination of nutrients in cheese has many promising health benefits.
If you’re over 50 years old and have a BMI of 25 or over, This Irish cheese study needs you….Come to the FHI stand in the Innovation Arena (Unit no. 7) in the Innovation Arena at the National PloughingChampsionships to learn more about taking part.
