The National Council for the Blind (NCBI) will exhibit at the National Ploughing Championships for the first time this year. Our marquee is located at Block 3, row 34, stand 815.
NCBI is the national charity working for the rising number of people with sight loss. Our stand will offer visitors a unique virtual reality experience, allowing them to see the world through the eyes of someone with a vision impairment. The VR experience takes users through a short (2-3 minute) film where they step into Callum’s world. For a brief period they see through his eyes and experiences the challenges he faces on a daily basis as a result of sight loss.
In addition, we will be highlighting the main causes of sight loss and how people can look after their eyes.
